Re: Jamming???
The VarAC group is using a center-freq of 14.1065 Mhz and the Net105 Packet group is using center-freq 14.1035 Mhz, so there's no interference from VarAC itself.? It's probably interference from

Re: Jamming???
Network105 has been on freq since the mid 1980s. While no one owns a freq, I would have thought the VARA folks would be kind enough to observe a gentleman's agreement.Maybe we should use a VARA freq

Re: Jamming???
VarAC uses 14.105 USB as a way to make an initial link to another station. Links are disconnected after 3 minutes if the stations do not QSY. BarAC has operated this way for over 3 years. Packet

Re: Jamming???
14.105 is the calling frequency for Vara HF. After a connection to another user the QSO is supposed to QSY to leave the frequency clear. N0AVK Bill

Jamming???
New to Network 105¡. On 14.105 sometimes get some really interesting sounding signal drowning out packets. Is this another mode/station stepping on the network or shenanigans? WB7PZZ Anthony DM33wo

Re: Reconfiguring for HF and VHF packet, telnet, Winlink RMS, etc.
I hear you on the steep learning curve, the BPQ groups.io is very active so lots of help is available. I forgot to mention, to also supports Winlink gateways too. When you¡¯re ready, drop by. 73 jim

Yes, assuming you have proper security in place for inbound connections, such as VPN, yes, I can fully use the TNC remotely, over the internet.

Thanks, Jim.? I already have steep learning curve projects going, and am trying to avoid any others. Is there a BPQ/Raspberry Pi for dummies tutorial somewhere?? Step by step instructions, and/or

Hi Daniel, Welcome to packet radio! ?You¡¯re on the right path from what I have read above. The next logical step is to add a bbs/node software, what I use is BPQ, the learning curve is steep, but

Thanks again, Jesse. If I understand correctly,? your system would give me remote internet access to my computer but not to the TNC itself, right? I looked at the KAM PLUS manual last night and

Re: Reconfiguring for HF and VHF packet, telnet, Winlink RMS, etc.
?Hi Daniel, I¡¯m not sure if this is helpful for you, but I recently experimented with remote access to my TNCs, and it works well. I use PuTTY for windows as a terminal when sitting at the desk,

Thank you for the confirmation, Jesse.? I should get the KAM Plus's within a week or so. Does anyone have any suggestions for telnet by itself or Winlink via telnet? Making progress! Daniel N0BN

Re: Reconfiguring for HF and VHF packet, telnet, Winlink RMS, etc.
The KAM All mode also has the ability to bridge HF and VHF streams, it has two radio ports, one for HF and one for VHF. I use one of these, with the latest firmware.
