Re: Best Linux for Ham Radio
Mike, I suspect you simply need to add your user to the dialout usergroup: sudo usermod -a -G dialout $USER = *sudo usermod -a -G dialout mike* 73's, Glenn WA6BJQ [email protected]> wrote:

As Andrew said, on Tumbleweed just add yourself to the dialout group. As to Wayland that would have been installed by default on Tumbleweed, so on the login screen just look at the lower left and

Re: Best Linux for Ham Radio
Probably the user account does not have adequate permission for CAT control.? This could be as easy as making the user a member of the 'dialout' group.? This issue has come up here in the past.?

RsID and AFC PSKR multicarrier modes - possible bug
Using a number of PSKR multicarrier modems (eg 63RC64, 125RC4,5,12,16, 250RC3,5) I have found that AFC does not "move" the audio carrier back and forth like it does for the single carrier PSK-125R,

Re: fldigi 4.1.25 xfwm4 and xfce4-panel crash
I believe the XFCE bug is back. Reproduction is as follows: - boot the OS - launch Fldigi 4.2.05 - press Alt+Tab After that, OS hangs for a moment and windows lose their frames. Lightdm restart helps.
