I also have trouble running fldigi on a Raspberry Pi running Raspberry Pi OS Bookworm. It uses Wayland by default. fldigi runs very very slow. I switched back to openbox and it works fine. I did not

Despite having these settings enabled when you do a lookup the data doesn't appear to populate as expected. Missing data includes State, Grid, Address, etc.
