Great work! Thank you.

I think the free CQRLOG has this ability already included? Seems to be what I currently use.

Re: FLAMP Relay Files Dos to Unix possible bug

Duff,
Likely not a bug, Linux/Windows uses a different line terminators. Thou it shouldn't matter. The file you received from the windows machine place it in FLDIGI for transmission and created a transmit audio recording (keep radio turned off), play it back with FLAMP running. See if that creates a valid file and if it does, save that version into a relay file and post it and the original here so I can look at them both.

Thanks,
Robert

CloudLog and FLDigi?

Guys,

Reaching out again - to see if anyone has gotten FLDigi to connect / transfer log data into CloudLog...

Thanks in advance,

FLAMP Relay Files Dos to Unix possible bug

When I load up a relay file originating from a windows machine in my Linux machine, it is not encoded properly. I have to run the file through the dos2unix command before I transmit it. Is this something that can be fixed?

Re: flrig on bookworm strange switching antenna behaviour Yaesu FTdx 3000

Further testing shows that whenever I start or stop flrig, as it opens or closes the radio ant relays click and the radio momentarily switches over to vfo B and the tuner is momentarily enabled.
I have (as requested in another post)
?
"Run once, opening the configuration dialog to the?Trace?page.? Select tracing for
  1. support code
  2. rig class code
  3. rig class get code
  4. rig class set code
  5. serial code

Exit and restart flrig.? Exit and send the file $HOME/.flrig/trace.txt"

?

I have done the above twice once with all the restore? tab boxes ticked and once with all the boxes unticked and attached them to this post.

?

flrig on bookworm strange switching antenna behaviour Yaesu FTdx 3000

I have installed flrig 2.0.05 on a pi4 running bookworm, it behaves strangely when opening and closing it down. I have tried all combinations on the restore tab. It switches the antenna inputs on all or some bands each time I open or close it, it also switches the tuner on or off randomly. There are 3 antenna inputs on the 3000 and in flrig there is no tab to switch them nor no mention of the antennas in the reload tab.
Any help/advice please

Thanks Peter,

I just drilled into the .app itself, found the executable and made an alias. ?Running that opens a terminal window and then fldigi so I think I¡¯m sorted.

Obviously I have no idea behind the programming but I wonder if this is likely to get resolved. ?Hope so :-)

Hi Keith,

I just remembered there was a little more to it. I have the actual fldigi executable file that I copied from the app bundle in my home folder. See this message for some related information: (/g/linuxham/message/52700)

Raspberry Pi, FLRig, rigctl problem

I have posted this on the Log4om forum but as of yet got no help, so am trying here now.
?
I have flrig installed on a raspberry pi running bookworm. Also installed is wsjtx. They work great together with flrig connected to my Yaesu ftdx3000 and sending receiving data to and from wsjtx.
I have log4om on a laptop running win 10, this receives logged contacts from wsjtx on the pi no problem. I can also setup wsjtx and mshv and sstv on my laptop and all will connect to flrig on the raspberry pi without a problem. BUT I cannot get any CAT control on log4om from flrig on the pi. I have read and tried all the posts on this forum....I think. I have been trying for 2 days.
The log seems to show that log4om is trying to make the connection with hamlib and the pi is refusing it as I guess hamlib is not running, Is flrig supposed to start it?

I am trying to start the connection on port 12345 which flrig is listening to but the log shows it just trying port 4532 which is the hamlib port.??

Decided to completely uninstall 1.4.7 and all associated hidden files for .flrig
?
Downloaded an new copy of flrig, v2.0.04, but got 2.0.05. Not sure why that happened, unless the link was labeled wrong.

Loaded 2.0.05 and no longer get the pinwheel of death. flrig appears to run okay.

CloudLog with FLdigi

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

Hi fellow Hams...

I have the FLseries running great with my FTdx10.?

What I cannot seen to get working is the connection to log contacts from FLDigi to CloudLog.? The API works (green connect), but when I save an entry in the log with FLDigi, it does not post to CloudLog.

I can have the log entry post into CQRLog - but CloudLog has an easy affinity to update other on-line logs.

Ideas???

Help Upgrading flrig on Macbook Pro

Dave,
?
First, Congrats on the marriage.
?

I'm revisiting this problem from this past March 1st, starting at message #52328.

Computer is a Macbook Pro with macOS Monterey v12.7.6

Rig is a Xiegu-G90

Interface to computer is DigiRig

Currently running flrig v1.4.7.

?

I've run into an issue with wsjt-x, in that I can't adjust the ALC when I'm transmitting. It pegs at 100%.

?

I want to revisit upgrading to the latest version of flrig. But I expect I will have the same problems I saw back in March. At one point I successfully loaded 2.0.x and it worked for a few days. If my foggy memory serves me correctly, I remember trying to install hamlib, but never got it working. I'm wondering if the failed install of hamlib is having an effect on flrig. I'm open to doing a complete deinstall of flrig, wsjt-x, and hamlib if someone can walk me through the process.

?

Thanks in advnce.
