Hi Dan,
Sadly not - I¡¯ve just tried running it from my home folder, from my pictures folder, from my music folder and about half a dozen other locations, all with the same problem.

Keith, I¡¯m not at my Mac right now but I believe there was a workaround by running the app from another location instead of the applications folder. I think it worked ok in my home folder ( ~/ ).

?Hi all,
Using an M1 Mac Studio.
I fired up fldigi 4.2.05 (VN) earlier today and when it opens, I get the popup saying fldigi would like to access the microphone but it¡¯s stuck in a loop. I click Allow and it just comes straight back. Checking in Privacy & Security / Microphone, fldigi does have access. I¡¯ve tried disabling it and re-enabling but it still just loops.
I can still access the fldigi menus behind the message and close fldigi. The correct audio devices are listed and selected.
Downloading the LI version, it works OK, I still get the message but only once, it doesn¡¯t loop.
Mac Studio M1 Ultra
macOS Sonoma 14.6.1
Kenwood TS-890, single USB cable between them
I would much rather use the Universal build than the Intel build on Apple Silicon.
Has anyone else experienced this?
