I just sent another way to
start fldigi, and it also required the "YES" response.? On
subsequent starts using the same technique, the YES prompt
appeared and after a second or two fldigi started normal
execution.? For this to work and not have the microphone nag,
you need to enable Terminal access to the microphone.? Do this
on System Settings / Privacy & Security / Microphone.

Hi, Dave.? I
tried running the commands from Terminal as shown in the
link you provided but at the last step, when I tried to
execute fldigi, I got this return:

./fldigi

I¡¯m
comfortable following instructions in Terminal but I have no
idea what this message meant.

I'm desperately trying to ditch
Windows and right now the only thing keeping me
there is I am still not able to start Flrig and
FLDigi on my M1 Mac Mini (Sonoma 14..4.1, FTDX10,
Signalink). ?
On Flrig, once I set the Rig, Update, and Baud
fields correctly then click Init I get a
never-ending beachball and have to force quit.
On FLDigi I still can't get past the "would like
to access the microphone" pop-up, no matter how
many times I click Allow.
JS8Call is working like a dream and if I move the
cables to a Windows laptop FLDigi works great
there.
Any thoughts?? Please forgive me if the solution
has been posted and I missed it.
