Re: L400 - Access to speedometer from inside?

Re: L400 - Access to speedometer from inside?
Hi Marcus, Go Port Forward cabin, lift the floor panel between the 'V' berth, you will see the unit in the floor with a lead attached. You will also see a blanking unit, normally attached by wire.

Re: L380 S2 Canchor chain
I am afraid you will get here only advice but not a definitive answer. You may try your old chain on the windlass and find out if it works properly or not. If it does - just use the link size to check

Re: L380 S2 Canchor chain
The three types of 10mm chain refer to the different dimensions of each link. See this page for the differences (basically, the long length of the internal hole, 30mm vs 28mm):

Re: L380 S2 Canchor chain

Re: L380 S2 Canchor chain
Word of caution: the designation is 10mm. However there is more than one type of 10mm chain link size. Same wire, different link shape! Measure your old link sizes - length and width of inner opening

Re: L380 S2 Canchor chain
Big is best. Your anchor and chain is your life line. Go the biggest and best anchor and the heaviest chain, even if you have to change the sprocket on the windlass. Heavy chain assists your anchor.

Re: L380 S2 Canchor chain
It¡¯s the gypsy that determines the chain size. Yours says 10 mm. 3/8¡± is 9.525mm, so just a bit smaller than you need. Tim
