Mark,
Read this and look at the Tsunami section. It' slightly different from the
standard for locking:

Hi Duncan,
You are confusing loco cabs (the locos under your control) with NCE's
concept of a cab, which is a controller connected via the cab bus to the
command station, in your case just the power

Then I wonder why all the "Read" buttons on the decoder page are grayed out. My JMRI is 5.3.3 on Windows 10 wiht Java 11.0.14. Anyone have an idea why that might be?

Re: Figuring out where I need to place my "blocks"

I found out right away that I couldn't think of individual items like blocks, signaling, detection, and power feed.
They are all part of a system.
Start out with turnout protection.

Tim,
Since you plan to do signaling, I would recommend each turnout, or group of turnouts, has its own block. For example, a "group of turnouts" could be two turnouts acting as a 3-way turnout. Or

What determines the position and size of windows in jmri? At some point the positions and sizes were recorded. Now no matter how much I reposition and resize windows, saving using "store all tablets

Re: I have apparently created a loop or message storm in Loconet - I don't know if it's JMRI or not -- any suggestions on how to diagnose?
Douwe,
The send count option is only applicable to signal mast drivers that talk directly to the layout, such as the "DCC Signal Mast Decoder".

I followed this discussion and was triggered by the comment that you can set the number of 'send counts' to a mast.
I know you can set that for a turnout, but for a mast I haven't been able to find

Good morning Mark,
I have 3 TCS WOW-121 Steam Decoders. I think they are very similar. Sometimes hickups can happen on the rails
and the decoders can sometimes interpret them as programming commands.
