Re: Locobuffer locking up from data overload?
Steve, "Software flashing" (where CATS/JMRI turns signal lamps on and off to create the flashing) tends to be expensive - both in terms of the software becoming busy responding to timers and in the

Re: Panel Pro and Sprog 3
SPROG runs in two different modes. In the usual one, it runs a programming track. In the other one, it¡¯s a DCC command station that can throw turnouts. You¡¯re to have to have different preferences

I am a little confused following this story. As I understand it the "JMRI" is not connected to the layout, they use a seperate programming track. Here a statement is made that the "JMRI"doesn't ptogram the decoders, the DCC systems does.
Richard, The SPROG3 works very well to set CVs and test locos. It can also be used as a command station although more limited than some command stations. The PR3 and LocoBuffer USB also do a great job

Re: Locobuffer locking up from data overload?

Re: Decoder Pro installed but won't run
A couple of ideas: 1. Did you use the option 'install for all users' or 'just me'?? 2. Take a look in the JMRI/logs/session.log and see if that gives any clues. -Ken Cameron, Member JMRI Dev Team

Tom, I too, have the same problem under Win10. There is something screwy with the install under my profile. Someone here suggested that I install under another user profile so I did that. I installed

Billybob, This is great, very helpful. I really don't want any switch commands on the rail sync since I'm using Digitrax DS64's and SE8cs so will make sure they are configured to listen to loconet not

Steve, Yes, it is accurate to say that anything seen on the DCC track signal is also seen on the RailSync signals (at least in a correctly wired and operating LocoNet install). In fact, a booster gets
