?Phil,
I think it would be confusing when you have red/green or green/red. What does that actually mean. One is the A-D route and the other is the B-C route. Over time it might become known which is which.
Note: Connections are A-D starting at the magenta/blue connection going counter clockwise.

Think I’ll raise a request then. It’s a very strange inconsistency
I kind of see why filling the circles would obscure things, but colouring the circles actually makes things clearer imho

?Phil,
The developer decided to not implement the turnout circle colors or the filled option since doing so can obscure the visibility of the current route through the slip.
Note: The developer is no longer an active participant.

While I’m building my layout (simulation) I changed the turnout circle colours to make it easier to tell which way they’re thrown
So CLOSED is GREEN and THROWN is RED
Perfect, except
My double slip turnout circles are always green whether they’re closed or thrown
Are they supposed to be like this?
It’s a shame if so (and they’ve always been like this, even before my battle yesterday to get thrown & closed the right way around)

Thanks for the image. ?It confirms my suspicion that the Railmodeller export process creates garbage.
The yellow connection point boxes should be green. ?That means you have an anchor point with only one track segment. ?There must be two track segments attached to an anchor point.
If you upload the exported xml file to the group's ProblemsBeingWorkedOn file folder, I can provide you with the technical details to pass onto the Railmodeller developer.
The circles will go away when you switch out of edit mode by unchecking Options -> Edit Mode. ?The size of the circles can be changed by using Options -> Turnout Options -> Set Turnout Circle Size. ?While the circle size is in the turnout options it applies to all control circles.
As was said in a previous reply, Programming on Main will still work. Programming on the Programming Track will still work, but won't report back as successful. Normally, all I do on the Programming Track is set the loco's address and basic accel, decel, and speed CVs. Really only need to set the address there.
However, you may have some problems with programming because you need to program both decoders, but they have the same address. Maybe that's OK in this situation, since the basic one in the loco doesn't have sound, and the motors in the loco and tender (if one is added in the tender) don't need to run at the same speeds, since one isn't connected to the wheels.
By the same token, since the decoder in the loco has a motor, it will answer to every programming command, and should respond with the acknowledge motor current pulse. So, maybe you don't need a motor in the tender and still will have the current pulse after each programming command.
If you go the two decoder route, start without the motor in the tender, add it only if it proves necessary. It's added cost and complexity, and adds heat. You don't need to add more heating inside these small plastic containers! (loco or tender shells)

Also CV223 got included in software release 1.2 only. Unless your Tsunami2 decoders are running firmware 1.2 or above, that CV 223 does not apply.
Unless you can state CV223 does have some effect in your case then it could be the firmware was updated to 1.2 or above and simply not mentioned in the Soundtraxx provided info for the Athearn engines.
