Locked Engine Driver consiisting

I'm running a Digitrax LNWI and using v2.20.57 of Engine Driver. I cannot create a consist. I followed the directions in the ED help but it's nothing like the help says. I used to create consists in previous versions without a problem.?

Do I possibly have a preference set incorrectly? What may I be doing wrong?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Steve,

As well as internal sensors working between two external sensors, will sections of track with internal sensors work between points?? Do you still have to write logix for these situations?? How do you write logix anyway??

Locked Re: Init Loconet Sensors with multiple loconets

In the most recent version(s) of that script, there are lines near the top that says:

# set the intended LocoNet connection by its index; when you have just 1 connection index = 0
connectionIndex = 0

To talk to a specific LocoNet, just change that 0 to 1 or 2 or whatever is needed (they¡¯re referenced in order, starting with zero)

If you want to run it over more than one, it¡¯s a bit of script modification.

Just to add, I'm testing this away from my club control panel so I've configured my loconets as Simulators and I'm viewing loconet monitor to see if the commands are being sent.

Steve ¨CThanks again. Didn¡¯t realize that was a server issue rather than an Engine Driver issue. You hit the nail on the head, Turnouts were disabled in my WiThrottle Server set-up. Good to get educated.

Sorry this request has no context.

There is no one unique NCE test.

The test I am asking Steve Jackobs to undertake is for a specific problem I have observed from the JMRI logs.

It's not suitable for online publication because it will involve attachments and screenshots, neither of which are permitted on-list.

Locked Ops: Locomotive print/export

Is there a way to print or export the locomotive roster in ops such that consisting and other fields are available?? Consist, weight, and horsepower are not available except on the Locomotives screen.

Locked Re: addressing accessories with Engine Driver

Mark,
To be clear, the change will not be in EngineDriver, it will be in the WiThrottle Server code in JMRI.
Check your WiThrottle Preferences in JMRI. There is an "Allowed Controls" section that can be used to disable the "Turnouts" functionality. Unchecking that does hide the Turnouts menu in EngineDriver.

Locked Re: Why are the function fields blank in decoder pro?

Not at all. If you install a new version as per the instructions at:
?Install Guides, you will have no problems.

  • For Mac you simply mount the disk image and in the window that opens, drag the JMRI folder to the Applications alias, When prompted, always choose Replace. Do not merge. (Do not touch the JMRI folder in ~/Library/Preferences, it contains ?all your data.)
  • For Windows you simply run the installer. No need to uninstall first.?(Do not touch the JMRI folder in "C:\Users\<yourusername>\JMRI, it contains ?all your data.)
  • For Linux you simply unpack and drag the JMRI folder to wherever your old version was installed (e.g. "/opt/" Do not merge. (Do not touch the ".jmri" folder in "~/home/", it contains ?all your data)
