I think if the question you¡¯re asking is where does the bell sound go, then the answer, theoretically, is nowhere. It¡¯s still assigned to the same CV on the decoder, unless you¡¯ve replaced the sound files with one without a bell. You could reassign the bell to another Function key, but it¡¯s dependent on which function keys the manufacturer/decoder will let you move it to. You need to open the Comprehensive Programmer Function tab, and look at what you can assign to F1 and and where else you can assign the bell. Some decoders give you a full range of reassignment, while others are very limited.?
As the other folks have said, F1 is the standard bell assignment, so as long as you¡¯re the only one operating the loco, you¡¯ll be the only one confused
