F! as Bell is the standard in the US.?
In Europe, F1 turns on the sound, (same as F8 in the US).
If you have an EU Lok, the defaults are very different.
No assumptions, read the function pane to see what options you have.
And read the decoder manual to understand how *that* decoder handles functions. (Every MFG has a better way)
