Yes, but more importantly, he has run DriveDX which gave the SSD a perfectly clean bill of health.

Absolutely not! ?One of the first things I do when a senior joins my Zoom sessions is convince them to remove any AV software they may be using.
I have asked him to download and run the free version of EtreCheck to see what that returns.
