This may not will solve it, but does the copy feature work? Copy is made of two functions, copy and print. If copy works, then it is a software issue, try reinstalling the driver.

Yes I¡¯ve got the paper to be scanned right side down which is the correct way for it to be scanned.

I¡¯ve looked at support at Canon but can¡¯t find anything to address this issue.
