Did you try testing it with out the cover? If it works without the cover then something metallic may have fallen in or something is loose. If not, then you will have to send it in. I have run into the

I use my IC-7000 with RMS Express. If you use the WINMOR mode (WINMOR WL2K Session), you only need the same connections as you'd use for other digital modes with a PC and a soundcard. RMS Express

Thanks, all! Tried the TV mode; no effect. I saw three different ribbon cables with the top cover off. Unseated each, checked for nicked/damaged wires, reseated. No effect. I'll go get a tin of Deoxit

Same here in Oklahoma where some folks commute 100 miles or more (one way) to work each day. Not all that unusual for folks to go over 100 miles or more round trip to eat at a favorite restaurant! 73

Looks like you have gone into TV mode. Try pushing the top left volume knob in, for more than one second, to get out of TV mode. This is the knob that you use to adjust the AF (volume control) 73

Perhaps the internal speaker connector isn't seated correctly at the back of the Main board, causing the internal speaker to not work. The display video, no mic & speaker audio could be dirty contacts
