I've been using the LDG AT-7000 with my IC-7000 for about 10 years. The antenna is a Comet UHV6 HF with loading coils for 40, 20 15 and 10. I bought a cup holder mound for the control head unit and a

The AT-7000 is obsolete and NLA. Parts are not available either.

I have used the MFJ 939 I with good results.
The AH-4 and compatible tuners will work

Re: Compatible Tuner with IC 7000
I have used an AH-4 tuner and it works very well, although I did not use mine mobile. I had bad luck with an MFJ auto tuner (forgot the model) but it would not allow the fan in the IC-7000 to run

Re: Compatible Tuner with IC 7000
Hi Phil,
I am also using an IC-7000 in my car together with an LDG AT-100 pro antenna tuner for HF bands. The tuner does quite a good job tuning my mono band MFJ whips.

The AH4 with a 102 “ whip will work great. Be sure to double insulate the
feed wire from the tuner to the whip. I used heavy gas line hose from an
auto parts store. Here is a safety tip for mobile

Re: Preparing to somewhat dissamble IC7000 control head
Be very careful with the ribbon cables
since the 7k has been around for so long the plastic ribbon cables are usually very brittle.
