I have the Nifty guide and W7YEN's laminated condensed instruction sheet, but I mostly just pull up my pdf file of the Icom7000 manual. I can do a search, enlarge the page and print whatever I need. I

I spend more time on digital modes than anything else these days, so I tend to use fast AGC, which usually works best for digital. Yes, slow is usually better for SSB, unless conditions are rapidly

Slow is best for ssb or slow cw. Fast is best for am, fm, and fast cw. AGC keeps the receiver at a continuous gain for certain modes. Slow decay is where I keep it unless I am on am. 73 de kc4bo
