Subject: Last day of MM ops
?
Whatho Gang,
We were in Lisbon today, and spent the most the day cycling along River Tagus the rest of the day dismantling and packing the bikes, which left no time for radio.
We are now about 20miles off the west coast of Portugal heading due north at a speed of 15knts.
Tomorrow (29th) will be our last day of radio ops from the ship before we remove the antenna and associated cabling as we head into the Bay of Biscay
Again we will be on 14.058 or 14.175 and move up as the propagation allows to 21.058 & 21.175 then on to 24.906 or 24.960. Of course weather permitting.
On the previous day of ops (27th) we worked Colin G0UJK, Terry M0TNE and Steve M0BPQ , Steve was working cross mode sending CW to our SSB...........These and many other QSOs were on 24Mhz.
Sorry we can't be specific about times but conditions are changing rapidly and unexpectedly.
Catch you on the wireless!
