Whatho Gang,

We are currently in port at Barcelona and just about to launch ourselves on an extended cycle ride along the coast.

We are also in port tomorrow in Toulon.

When in port we will only be on the air from mid to late afternoon whilst on sea-days we should be on most of the day.

Our next sea day is on Friday 24th.

On our first operating day (18th) the condx was amazing with both 15 and more so on 12m. On 12 I worked into the Americas , South Africa, the far east, together with many contacts into the UK, including two mobiles.

Then next day the bands were totally different, I believe there was a CME + solar flare I could only hear a few very weak signals from central Europe mainly Russians and struggled to work anyone. Things have improved over the past two days but are nothing like the amazing propagation on the 18th..............

So on sea days I will be on all day again working the usually frequencies 24.906 24.960.........21.058 21.175 14.058 14.175 even 10.116 if there is no activity on other bands

A message for Colin G0UJK .......Sorry old man I didn't hear you for the reasons above or even the Russian stn calling me.

At the time I was desperately trying to find a band that was in anyway open.

My next full sea day is Friday and then we have one more day that will be Monday 27th we will be dismantling the station on 28th.

Please bear in mind I will be on during the afternoon during port days
