I whacked my 817ND when the antenna tuner didn't kick in right on HF.? Had to send it back to a Yaesu repair station to the tune of $200.00 plus shipping.? That was a lonnnnnngggg time ago too!?

Hi you say you have output on VHF, How much power output do you have , Often only one of the finals go bad so you still have low output on VHF/UHF, So yes I think the final board is bad, Good luck
