Curious about the THP HL-50B amp, I sent an E-Mail about cost and
shipping to the U.S. Cost is $258 plus $40 Insured shipping. Not
that "I" would import the little beast, but did it for the group...
I could do a lot of other things with $300.

Interesting. At US$65/copy (w/enclosure), you could buy all four
and spend
about what you would on a THP HL-50B. On the other hand, the THP
amp will
push 60+ w and covers 80m-6m in one package. On the other other
hand, the
THP also draws a lot more current than the Ramsey amps. The
picture of the
Ramsey board looks like you could slim the Ramsey amp down a lot if
you were
willing to make up new boards.
