Re: Finger Pulls on Drawer fronts
Depending on their preferences, you can ask them if they like something with a more cove-y profile:
but from what I've heard about eucalypt (all from Derek Cohen) I'd agree with Joe -- get a shiny, new bit from a quality mfr and sneak up on it

And jig it so you can move fast and not dwell.

I am not familiar with Ecalypt.? When I have a cut like that in wood that burns easily I do two things. - Buy a new bit from a quality brand
- Make shallow cuts so the router does not have to slow down at all.
? ? Gidday Have a client from hell, fussy, AKA my daughter and partner The want solid timber vanities 2x, made from recycled eucalypt ( hard and spllntery) It will be oiled, I would like to keep burning to a minimum. The long section of the cut is in side grain, the returns in endgrain Either hand router or Router insert in Felder KF Seems to be only two bits- Ogee or a Finger Pull bit like the CMT one Any comments on how to approach it? Or should I find another daughter??

Re: Digi compensation for droll outrigger
Hey Lucky,?
The latest spec for the X-roll outrigger now to 1/100 of a degree! I'm back to considering the K940 again because I might be able to get the X-Roll outrigger (long story! outlined in my DM to you).
Cheers Michael ?

The Radial Drill Press is coming along nicely. ?I thought some of you would find it interesting to see pictures showing the power lift attached. The upgrades are being done by James at Iron Age Enterprises, and he recently sent a few pictures
Still a bit more work to do on the speed adjustment knob. ?One thing I am still thinking about is the depth stop. ?The Powermatic had a push button nut, which is a lot faster than turning the nut to adjust the quill travel. ?I guess there is always the option of a DRO depth gauge also.
Based on the above comment along with my own experience, I will pay attention to a nice clamping setup which could include an accessory table with slots for the Automaxx clamps and perhaps the smaller Mac clamps.

Re: Radial Drill Press purchase
Joe,
Looks like he does nice work. I am in envy of that power rise and fall, I will think about it every time I crank mine.

Be our guest at AWFS in Las Vegas!
I use Drawer Connection for all my cabinet drawers, they do nice work very reasonable and they are local for me, so delivered assembled is great. They just emailed me this free admission voucher for the Vegas show, so I double checked if it was ok to post here, they said the more the merrier!
I think this saves you $25 a person, so worth it if you intend to attend the show.

Regarding the extremely small size of the videos on their website, it's easier to just go right to their YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/FELDERGROUPTV/videos

Hi friendsWe started a How To video section that
I thought the FOG members might appreciate. It's very basic but would surely
help some of the guys. It's on our web page under the Tips and do it yourself
section. On another note we will be at the Vegas show this year, just with
less machines and less staff, ?hope to see you then. ? Best Regards ?<Mail Attachment.gif> | Ruan duToit | | | FELDER GROUP USA | 2 Lukens Drive, Suite 300 | New Castle
