The Radial Drill Press is coming along nicely. ?I thought some of you would find it interesting to see pictures showing the power lift attached. The upgrades are being done by James at Iron Age Enterprises, and he recently sent a few pictures
Still a bit more work to do on the speed adjustment knob. ?One thing I am still thinking about is the depth stop. ?The Powermatic had a push button nut, which is a lot faster than turning the nut to adjust the quill travel. ?I guess there is always the option of a DRO depth gauge also.
Based on the above comment along with my own experience, I will pay attention to a nice clamping setup which could include an accessory table with slots for the Automaxx clamps and perhaps the smaller Mac clamps.
