Re: Christmas in November
David, I hope it is that simple! I will not do anything with it until the tech gets here, though. I do not want Felder telling me I broke something! I appreciate the input about possible

Weird, I don't have that knob/shaft attached to mine. I'll have to look at my loose parts that came with my machine to see if it's laying around. -- *Larry Long Neck* Just a noob trying to learn the

Re: F700Z slider to cast-iron height difference
Hi, I do a fair amount of template copying and have never had an issue with using a pattern that bridges the cast and sliding table. The angle induced is so small as to inconsequential . When tenoning

Re: F700Z slider to cast-iron height difference
I guess I should also point out that for template pattern work, I use a spiral cutter that is only 100mm in diameter with an integral rub bearing. https://flic.kr/p/PtnUYq David Best - via mobile

Today is the day! Tech is supposed to arrive late this afternoon for commissioning. I did mount the slider onto the saw, so I could verify clearances. This slider is very hard to move. It takes two

Re: F700Z slider to cast-iron height difference
Frankly, I have never had a situation where the tiny induced angle was an issue during template routing. I mean we¡¯re talking about less than 0.1¡ã here. But if I was truly concerned about it, I

Re: Hardware for hanging wall cabinets
Given that your base cabinets are already in place, do yourself a huge favor and pick up a pair of Third Hand cabinet jacks from Fastcap. They make installing the uppers in this situation a breeze.

Re: Profil 45Z commission and setup
Neither one of those t-nuts will meet the requirements. You need two set-screws to anchor the T-nut in the slider, and counterbores at each end so you can reverse the T-nut for leveling with grub
