By the way, the CA functions as a filler, not as a glue. You don¡¯t need to try to force it deep into the split. Jus5 get some medium viscosity material in the gap to fill it near the surface. --

I would run a saw kerf with a tracksaw or very small router bit and inlay a spline the with the matching thickness. If that doesn¡¯t work I¡¯m afraid it¡¯s destined for the trash pile there sir.
