¿ªÔÆÌåÓýDavid, ? I did this and found that my table was not flat.? I also attached a good straight-edge to the spindle and rotated it around and saw the same thing.? I really don¡¯t want to get into the table as I have had the saw for 6 years and it has been like that the entire time so I expect no metal memory (if that¡¯s the right term) for it to self-flatten itself.? If not, I don¡¯t have, nor am I willing to buy, the tools necessary to do this.? As I will be using the tenoning plate, I would just prefer to reference the spindle to the plate for 90 degrees.? Am I going down the wrong rabbit hole? ? Bill ? From: [email protected] <[email protected]>

Attach a dial indicator with mag base to the side of the bare spindle, indicate down to the cast iron top, then rotate the spindle by hand. ?The spindle is properly aligned 90-degrees in all directions when the indicator shows NO VARIATION as the spindle is rotated. ?Most MagBase indicator stands have a ¡°V¡± section on the bottom specifically to attach to a cylindrical surface. ? ? ?
