I¡¯m sure someone else will chime in but I would drop the spindle down until you had 1 inch above the table and come at he spindle with a fixed digital gauge and zero on one side then rotate the spindle to see if it hits zero all the way around. ?If not then move spindle until you hit zero all the way around. ?If it is off a degree you will see it in your gauge. ?

Hi All,?
?
Long time no talk to!
?
I have always been unhappy with my shaper results from my KF700S because I believe the spindle is not perpendicular to the sliding table at exactly 90 degrees.? I would like to remedy this and start using the shaper for more than edge work.?
Cab someone point me to an article or video on how to insure the spindle is at 90 degrees to the sliding table?? I will be purchasing the tenoning plate to help my endeavors with joining using the shaper.
?
As always, your help is truly appreciated.
