Michael, I really like the Harmony switch idea. It's very clean and avoids any motion related problem with the wires and the sliding table. I'm curious as to the button force issue that you mention.

I vaguely recall going through that same exercise. Until I reinforced everything, all the steel just flexed. I notice that by lengthening, the side away from the bottle jack always lags the pump side.
