开云体育If you are speaking of switch on slider it’s most likely time to replace battery. Can’t help you more as I do not have it. Imran On Jan 17, 2021, at 9:31 AM, G. Lane <lane247@...> wrote:

Re: Turn table drawing.
开云体育In long narrow spaces they give you flexibility with the smaller sliding tables
I have had to fight the planning authority for every inch on my new workshop, so it would be nice to site the machine permanently rather than moving it around on the rolling carriage. But it all hinges on the centre of rotation is key. Sent from my Windows Phone From: imranindiana via groups.io Sent: ?17/?01/?2021 05:03 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [FOG] Turn table drawing. Cliff,
turntable is not on the saw, rather saw is on the turn table

开云体育I feel your frustration, Annu. I’m glad, though, that you confirmed the motor short as that eliminates any remaining doubt in that area and looks as if I was wrong in insisting that the brake module was at fault.Roger

Re: Spindle Sander

I don't use a spindle sander much but have an old State T150 which was the earlier version of the T5.. Both had a tilting spindle and sleeves from 1/4-4".? The best spindle sanders made in the US were from Kindt Collins.? Dave

This is the spindle sander I have - not the most refined piece of gear, and not for heavy production, but it works well and costs less than the aluminum sanding heads for the shaper:

Re: Hot press
Dmitry,
I haven't seen the Jr. in action, but larger versions yes. The primary benefit is speed of throughput.? You have to press a lot of veneer to justify that. Our 5x10' vacuum press is in use more often than not, and I wouldn't consider it. I do outsource some components to Saunders Veneer Specialties in Wisconsin precisely because of them being hot pressed however. There's a used one on Woodweb for $12k Jason Holtz J. Re: Spindle Sander
开云体育If you’re talking about these sanding heads, I think you’ll be disappointed. ? They rotate entirely too fast and do not oscillate. ? A bobbin sander is a much better alternative.David Best https://www.instagram.com/davidpbest/

Re: Hot press
开云体育I would imagine it has enough ommph , they have been selling the junior for a long time.2 things it looks low, you will be bending down when you put your panel in. The one I used we had the (well one of them) glueup/layup table in front of it and the platten was a bit higher, I can’t remember how much but we had to lift the panels to get them in. Our substrate was 1” or 1.25” mdf - wouldn’t want to bend down loading one of those. ?We also had to put in spacers to fill in the dead space, not sure if it was because ours was so big (5’ x 10’ i think) but not really a big deal - just some squares of the same thickness in the corners and here and there depending on the unfilled space. But the awesome thing is you don’t need plattens for the panel you are glueing up and it is fast because of the heat.? I am not familiar with this but it will not do curved (vertically) work like a vacuum bag. Maybe, that is not important to you.

Re: Hot press
开云体育More than likely yes, I used to work in the veneer room of a very high end custom corporate furniture company and we had a much larger version, the heat will have you pressed up and ready to go in no time.Regards, Mark On Jan 16, 2021, at 9:32 PM, Dmitry Ivanovs via groups.io <divanov2@...> wrote:
