Mark,
? I'm pretty sure you can't mount it on the AD941.? I have one and there are access panels in that location.

AD41
silent cutter?
Single phase 4hp i think ?(Whatever is the standard.?
Powerdrive
The 3piece guard (which I don¡¯t think they say is standard on the web but they include it)

AD951
Silent cutter

My point is you don't have to drill the holes no panels to alter/replace as its designed for the machine.

Paul, I have found that if you get close to maxing out options on one level of machine that jumping to the next level standard build or at least same options +1 isn¡¯t that big of a jump dollar wise...

I thought Baleigh was Taiwan, at least on their big stuff but that may be wrong.? The design is interesting though.? Looks more like the Hoffmann where the tables don't flip up but the planer bed is very long.? The quality of the execution is what I'd want to know.? What is the grind tolerance of the 98" tables, is there a second outfeed drive roller, chipbreaker, and pressure bar.? At 11K it could be an option if the build is as good as the paint job.? Can the 941 be had for close to 11K ?? Dave

I wonder about the accuracy. My AD941 is spot on for thickness.

Re: AD941 vs. Baileigh JP-1898-NC

The 951 is a lot more machine, too. Larger everything and more time saving options available like digi-drive and variable feed rate control and bigger depth of cut capacity. Geared towards production shops, me thinks.?
