It will sort of be like installing flooring neither species should be a problem. Not enough moisture on bath side unless Mac has a house full and the shower is in constant use.?

Re: Should we make a policy on proper way to reply

I have no problem in email because on iPhone no matter how long the msg is there is an arrow on my screen bottom that brings up the reply menu. What prompted me to bring this up is the time it took (on web interface) to scroll down, using my cellphone, to reach the reply button.

I can certainly live with the way it is as I seldom use the web interface.

I do like Ray¡¯s proposal to have this built in, not sure if it is possible. Even if possible, I assume, it will only work on the msgs posted on the web.

I wonder if the forum can be setup so that replies do not automatically include previous messages and that if you want to reply to a quote you have to manually use an ¡°insert quote¡± function.

Re: Should we make a policy on proper way to reply

Brian Lamb

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

It's the age old issue of folks not cleaning off their replies. When responding in a thread, leave the message you are specifically replying to and delete everything below it in the thread.

We can ask everybody to do it, but it rarely lasts for more than a couple days. We all forget to do it and we are back to the same situation.

Moderators & et al.,

I hardly ever see msgs on the web interface. Today I looked at one and noted how each msg includes previous msgs. It was very annoying to scroll down and pretty soon msgs became one character per row due to indentation. Turned phone to landscape to avoid that. I just feel besides annoying it wastes storage, yes I know it is txt but still.

I do not know, for sure, how to avoid this when we reply via email vs on the web. If you agree, can we share the proper way to reply in both cases to avoid this situation?

Best Regards,

Imran
