Re: Scale

James, I have on and have to say it is pretty cool. I am still learning the programing but with a note book and notes at this point, setting up cutter s and the height and fence is about as easy as it gets. I am almost to the point of not having to do test cuts anymore.

Re: router spindle question for KF700

Kumar,

10K Max is with standard shaper spindles. 15K for router spindle is achieved because it has smaller diameter section for belt. You also need a different belt for router spindle, at least for my older KF.

I would speak with Felder, provide them with your machine info so you get the correct router spindle and belt.

?Is this the right product for router spindle for KF 700??

FELDER? High-speed router spindle

Suitable for FELDER? Serie 6, 700, 900 with Poly-V belt drive.

Item #?430-117xx

The description on the Felder Shop specifies 15,000 rpm. How is that possible, since the machine specs give 10,000 as the highest speed?
Thank you.

Mark,
Kinda cool,
I heard a year ago or so they were thinking about it. I am surprised that they did . Actually it looks ok for small projects.

Re: K940 S commission length/time/how long?

Michael,
You probably know this but as a reminder,
Make sure its off the pallet and placed where you want it,
Make sure your dust collection, power ect. is hooked up.
Make sure you have filled out the sheet with the voltages between legs and two ground if it is a 3 phase machine.

I would just use flat joint and glue and overlap edges to trim later , no advantage to all the extra step. I just use a couple micro pinner To position and than clamp edge to edge.

I think that the video shows a more completed procedure?than needed.
I used 5/16" thick Garolite from McMaster-Carr that is the correct thickness.
I tapered the side that goes under the slider for strength.
