Thanks to everyone for the help. ?I did make one but I didn¡¯t think to angle cut it to add material for strength. ?I¡¯ll make another one with the angle cut for more strength.

I think that the video shows a more completed procedure?than needed.
I used 5/16" thick Garolite from McMaster-Carr that is the correct thickness.
I tapered the side that goes under the slider for strength.
