¿ªÔÆÌåÓýI am looking to replace mine with this Quincy Single-Stage Air Compressor ¡ª 2 HP, 115 Volt, 20-Gallon Horizontal Tank, Model#?Q12120PQ?It's as big? a compressor as I can fit.? So the question I have to the assembled is : "Is it as quiet as the rest of the Quincy line?" That's it.? Noise.? It's the only consideration. My old? 30 year old Craftsman 5HP compressor? sounds like a

For Sale: FY 2000, KF700; AD731; FB540; Oneida DC - Fresno, CA
I am moving to Colorado and my new house has no room for a shop that can house these machines.
Package price for all items below is $8500. If purchased separately at the prices shown they would add up to $10,050. I have shown individual prices but will wait to see if there is interest in the package. This is a turnkey and complete dream woodworking shop. 1. Felder KF700 table saw/shaper with 1740 outrigger table. Upgraded to a digital rip fence. 1.25 shaper spindle and high speed router spindle. Power feeder. A few table saw blades. No shaper tooling. Single Phase 240V. Year 2000. $5500 2. Model AD731 12" Jointer/Planer. Felder four knife system. One spare set of blades. Year 2000. $2500. 3. Model FB540 21" Band saw. Year 2000. $1400. 4. Oneida cyclone dust collector. This is currently mounted in a dust collector cabinet outside my garage and will need to be dis-mounted by the buyer. $650 The saw/shaper and the jointer/planer are on Felder's mobility system for which I have just one mobility bar. The bandsaw is on its own independent rollers. I have multiple Felder odds and ends for all the Felder machines. I am a hobbyist who travels a lot for work and as such these machines have spent most of their life waiting to be used. All Felder units are in excellent condition. There are mild surface rust markings on the table saw top and also on the J/P top but nothing that detracts from functionality and usage. I have the complete packing list for the Felder machines from Felder Sacramento and will be happy to scan and send them to interested parties. Photos will be added tomorrow once i have cleared the stuff on the machines. Terms: 1. All equipment is in my garage in Fresno, CA. You will need to load or make other appropriate arrangements. All the machines will load easily onto a trailer, a drop deck trailer, or a lift-gate equipped truck. 2. All machines are under power and can be demonstrated once I have established that you are a serious buyer. 3. All sales are final and there is no warranty offered or implied. 4. I will provide a bill of sale that all parties can sign. Please contact me with any questions. Thanks Prabha |
Re: Adjust shaper spindle to 90 on C3-41
I have a hammer B3 and I looked in the manual.? Their are 9 parts involved in locating the end of the shaft.? Check that the outer retainer screws holding the retainer to the frame are tight.? Also check that the spring pin holding the collar on the end of the shaft is not sheared.? If you have the manual look over the assembly to see what's going on. Jerry P |
Re: Adjust shaper spindle to 90 on C3-41
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýDan I will have to bail on the hammer not familiar with what you are talking about. Do you have an ensemble drawing this will answer your question. martin/campshure/co/llc 608-824-0023?fax Designing and building for 47 years On Jan 31, 2017, at 1:56 PM, danjones88@... Re: AD 741
Glen ? ? Sounds like a great plan it's all about having fun and making good stuff.I'm a weekend hobbyist enjoying making sawdust and have an appreciation for well built machines,I think having a Ad 741 or 941 would be a nice addition. Next up getting the Wife's blessing Thanks again On Jan 30, 2017 8:43 PM, "GLEN chris3645@... [felder-woodworking]" <felder-woodworking@...> wrote:

Re: Adjust shaper spindle to 90 on C3-41
OK.? I got to the collar to adjust the 90 on the spindle shaft.? I found that I have a larger issue.? The horizontal threaded shaft is loose where it exits the side of the machine (where the handle is) .? The 90 degree collar is actually holding the shaper from swinging toward 45 degrees.? It seems that there must be something missing that keeps the shaft inside the cabinet but able to turn at the same time.

Re: AD 741
GLEN
I think its has to do a lot with what your intentions are with the machine. Production shop running all the time or weekend hobbyist There are better machines and worst machines. When I started a had crappy machines due to money but I could make good stuff, it just took me a lot longer to produce a good product. today my shop is going to be a play room with no intention to really make money. Therefore I came to the conclusion that the felder tools should? be fine for what I intend to do. The Kappa will be the bar top, the 941 will be the back bar, and the profile will be the table in front of the bar. I will use the tools and my friends I might let use the tools but its more about having some fun with my construction friends.

?
I will offer the same. I payed $10900 for my AD941?a couple years ago equiped exactly as you have yours?speced.
I love the silent cutter head.?
Im ok with the machine not in love.
I dont think i would purchase a used Combo machine. If i did it would have to be a really really good deal and i would have to be able to run?number of boards over it and kick its tires with my straight edge and?oneway gauge at the very?least.

I just bought a AD 941 with the spiral cutter, euro comfort, and power drive. I paid 11k out the door if that helps for a comparison, You can get a quote from felder to see what a new equivalent unit goes for, and I dont know much but I would tend to lean towards David B advice as he knows a lot about all of this stuff. Offer 5k and see where it goes Glen ? -----Original Message----- From: rjeep82@... [felder-woodworking] To: felder-woodworking Sent: Mon, Jan 30, 2017 4:41 pm Subject: Re: [felder-woodworking] AD 741

Re: AD 741
well, when I bought my AD741 with power drive and silent power at woodworking show in Toronto in Nov 2015, it was about CAD 10K plus tax. Factored into the exchange rate at the time (1 USD = 1.3375 CAD), it was US$ 7476. I noticed the price of AD741 has gone up cause someone mentioned AD741 with power drive and silent power cutterhead was about $9300 last Dec, but AD941 with power drive, silent power drive and comfort guide was 10955 at Felder 60 years anniversary special pricing, so AD941 was absolutely a good deal. Silent power cutterhead is really awesome, and quiet! James On Mon, Jan 30, 2017 at 3:07 PM, Bellsouth dohertyj@... [felder-woodworking] <felder-woodworking@...> wrote:

Re: AD 741
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýRichard,Does the AD741 have a silent power cutterhead? It like new condition with low use it seems OK. ? I was concerned when you mentioned the AD751 because those are certainly not worth $7400. ?I think Felder discontinues the AD751 in the early 2000s and I think they had some problems. ? Maybe other have a better idea if a newish AD741 is worth $7400. Joe in New Orleans

Re: AD 741
Hi Joe The jointed/planer is AD 741 not a 751 i guess I pushed the wrong key The owner said its a 2012 of a 2013 it also has the Power drive It appears to be in great shape would 7,400 be a fair price Thanks for your input On Jan 29, 2017 6:10 PM, "Joe dohertyj@...
