It is single speed. I moved the small roller by moving the feed lever shown in the photo below. I haven't had a chance to remove the motor plate yet. Do you recommend that I use something on the side

McMaster has some heavy duty piano hinges that I've used in the past and have performed well. They had a 1/4" knuckle. I would use something like that or just use regular passage door hinges. Jarrett

I¡¯m relatively sure that piano lids weigh more than the doors of your cabinet will weigh even when loaded with tools. At least the lid on my wife¡¯s steinways are pretty hefty.

You have to get that rusted ring off the studs first. I'm guessing it's been there long enough, and probably slightly stuck in the paint, once it's off you will be able to lift the motor, I can see
