We swapped 72 T8 32 watt high bay for 14 watt, and 22 T8 32 watt for 10 watt. These are on 10-12 hours daily, almost every day. Not sure we're able to quantify any temperature induced savings or cost

Re: Deep-cutting slot cutter
I use the Felder dado and have liked it ¨C A bit of a shameless offer - I also have a new forest dado set (still with the wax dip on it) that is bored for felder and has magnetic shims and a holder

On the dado, i went with ridge carbide as they have the lowest ¡°bat ears¡± Freud has the tallest, can¡¯t recall the numbers. Really can¡¯t notice the bat ears once glued up. Ridge customer

Hi Tom Her is a pic of a 2¡± x 3/4¡± slot in a shelf corner made with a slot cutter. The advantage of kerf cutters is that you are milking the faces with a planing blade and shearing of the corners

Re: Deep-cutting slot cutter
Check the following video from ExtremeWoodworker. Btw, if the space is not an issue, buy the separate shaper and saw, not KF combo. I have a KF700S in a double car garage, I hate switching over.

I¡¯ve ordered from Whitehill in the UK directly as well. They make some of the shaper heads for Felder¡ https://www.whitehill-tools.com/cutter-heads/adjustable-groovers/

Re: Deep-cutting slot cutter
You might want to skip the Felder tooling option altogether for Greene? or Roycrofter style? work? because of all the exposed grooves and slots The Felder? slotting / Dado? cutters? leave little

Good day to the Group! I'm still researching a future KF700S purchase, and am currently working on tracking down shaper tooling, which will inform which spindle(s) I order. Based on a current project

Watching that video, I notice?very little dust on the cast iron table as opposed to my Kappa 400. Is that the Martin, or his dust collection? I have a Martin saw and am very happy with the dust

There should be two small zerks. I was remembering shields but maybe those bearings are open on one side. A shielded won't get much help from outside greasing. If you don't have the zerks, the
