Re: What Grease to use for Saw Height/Elevation Guide

Cliff Rohrabacher, Esq.

I have tried oil,? I have tried? wipe on Red grease, I have used the
DowCorning dry lube with molybdenium disulfide (it is messy) and I have
used? Lubriplate in a pressurized can.

My? height adjustment rack is hard to access and no grease zerks exsist?
That'd have been a nice thing to build in.? If I ever take the saw town
I'll install some? better way to get lube? in.

So far I am favoring the Spray on Lubriplate.? The long tube provided
with the can lets me get? in and apply it? with some relative precision.

K975 manual says to grease the saw height guide every 40 hrs or monthly. It
does not mention/recommend a grease type. I have grease for the shaper
spindle in the gun. I forget what it is but it was recommended here and I
got it from NAPA store. Is it okay to use for the saw height?
