Re: Attaching Aigner Pressure Module to Xroll P profile

Thanks John. Surprised that it holds position good enough for the ext table. Either way, I am going to try it as, right now I only see the need to attach pressure modules for rip fence.

Works good with pressure modules and Aigner extension tables with the support leg. I used standoffs so the whole rail could be utilized. You could drill and tap the Baltic Birch for a set screw if you found a situation that requires it. I plan to machine the Felder P rail blocks like David shows, just haven't got around to it yet. You can adapt the simple build of the Baltic Birch blocks to use no stand offs. I just used scraps and the Aigner bars I had on hand.?

Hi John,

?

This is definitely a low cost option. Is the ply block just sitting on the P rail or is there a set screw?

?

Also if one is willing to sacrifice the ability to mount an accessory where the wooden blocks are, would it work if the flat bar was directly mounted to the blocks without standoffs? The wood block in this case would need to be thick enough to provide sufficient clearance to attach the accessories. Do you see a disadvantage to not use the standoffs?

?

What you show is fine for pressure modules, which is what I am interested in but does it work for accessories like extension tables which one would prefer to be coplaner with the slider every time they are mounted?

Imran, I got those P rail Aigner mounts David mentioned and here's a couple of pics of a P rail to F rail mount that's super easy to make.?

Hi David,

?

Thanks for the link. I also see what you did with two modified couplings with flat bar in between. Do you use that often?

?

The angle bracket is too limiting where it would not accommodate wide material. Unless I am missing something.

?Chris,

Thank much for quick feedback. Do you need two to support the flat bar in between? Did it come with flat bar?

I will check eshop but likely it is still messed up and will have to call in.
