Thanks for the details. Supposedly there is a grease fitting as the manual recommends using a grease gun. I have looked cursorily and not seen one. Will have to take a closer look in a day or two to see if I locate it.

That'd have been a nice thing to build in. If I ever take the saw town
I'll install some better way to get lube in.
So far I am favoring the Spray on Lubriplate. The long tube provided
with the can lets me get in and apply it with some relative precision.
