Re: Fun at the junkyard.
Todd, How can they think of crushing it? With so few EV's in this country we need every part. Looking forward to keeping my '93 going a long long time. Ron

Re: Who has towed what?.................
I was wondering if I could use my '93 EV MV with a 5 speed to tow my '74 Lotus Europa without a braked trailer. The Europa weighs around 1500 lbs. I would prefer to rent a trailer and hitch since this

Ticking Noise with 2000 EV (vacuum?)
My 2000 EV has about 2500 miles on it. It has made a noise since day one. It is a faint ticking noise that you can hear inside the car but not out in the engine area. More noticable when under a load

My 93 came with one with the word "EUROVAN" on it. The previous owner saved the manufacture paperwork on it (didn't save the receipt): Manufacture: Autobahn Distributed by VWoA Kit number: ZVW 275 001

Re: Ticking Noise with 2000 EV (vacuum?)
I have this ticking noise on my 99 Weekender. We also have the same ticking noise on our 99 New Beetle. On the New Beetle Email List there was a discussion a while back in which many said it was the

Re: Exhaust Systems
In addition to the safety inspection aspect, if you're concerned that the exhaust system would be close enough to the wheel to heat the brake, I'd also worry about what that heat could do to the tire
