First, can you tell if you have a serpentine belt (one belt that snakes around to ALL the pulleys) or do you have TWO belts, with one on the A/C and the other on other things? Most but not all '93s

It may not be the resistor pack, it may be the Thermal Cut Off (TCO) fuse on the resistor pack. Its much cheaper to replace this then the resistor pack. TCO fuses are available from many electronics
