Re: Antenna
On the topic of door locks; I have a 1995 Eurovan. The driver side goes into fibrillation when I open locked van on the passenger side. I can¡¯t open it on the drivers side. Any suggestions on what

Re: Antenna
The shark fin ones really don't perform that well. Their main attribute is that they look good and don't get ripped of in car washes. In order to work at all, they need to be amplified, which they

Re: Sliding door lock
Locks are electric, not vacuum. Pull the door card and git to it. Small white plastic clips get brittle, levers disconnect, the electric pins (4) can get corroded. Be careful pulling the door card

Re: Antenna
Not aware of any retractible (electric) that will fit the stock location. Battery limits space available. I've been searching for an amplified antenna, I'd love to put a 'shark fin' style on the roof

Re: Sliding door lock
A common issue is that the interior door panel is misaligned and binds the lock button. The symptom typically looks like the door tries to lock, but bounces back to unlocked. However, if there's no

Sliding door lock
So late last year the vacuum assisted door locks stopped working on the slider door behind the passenger seat. ?I cannot get it to lock manually either. ?Any ideas on where to start? ?Thanks

Antenna
Any thoughts on a replacement antenna for a 2002 Eurovan MV Weekender? Ideally a fully retractable one to prevent carwash damage. The other goal is to pull in the best possible signal. While I'm at

Re: Mechanic for 01 EV WK in Chicago?
Not sure if the 01 Eurovan uses the pass through bolts on the oil pan like the 1993... if so... if you are missing any oil pan bolts or if they are loose, your EV will leak oil. I only found this out

Re: Oil around MAF sensor
It is very common to get oil build up there over a long period of time. It is part of emission control system that is recycling vapor from under the valve cover back into the air intake system.

Oil around MAF sensor
I recently replaced my MAF sensor. I noticed when I removed the sensor's hose from the engine hose there is a compression clamp holding them together. That area is and was slick with oil. Here is a

Mechanic for 01 EV WK in Chicago?
I have some kind of oil leak on my 01 EV WK. I think bottom part of engine will have to be clean up a bit and then sit for a while to determine what an where this is coming from. Do any of you have a

Re: Ticking noise
Check if any turn signal bulbs are burned out. Fast ticking usually indicates one is, though I¡¯ve only known it to occur while the turn signal is engaged. Serge wrote:

Ticking noise
I have an annoying ticking noise coming from the dash on my 02 evwk. It sounds like the turn signal, but it is twice as fast. When I turn on the turn signal or the emergency flashers, it slows down. I

Re: 1995 Eurovan.
It seems that the fan is on a different circuit. Tripping the circuit breaker does not stop it!

Re: 1995 Eurovan.
Another possibility is that the furnace controller or perhaps the time delay relay within the furnace. The service manual can be found here:

No under the seat from the fan for the heater. I will try to turn off the electrical circuit breaker

Re: 1995 Eurovan.
Are you sure it's the furnace fan? I believe the Norcold 3163 fridge also has a thermostat-controlled fan. Could the noise be coming from the fridge?
