Re: EV - The Movie
I got the movie offer too, but I wonder if anyone that has not owned a EV got one? I would interested to know if anyone finds out about a non-EV person recieving the piece.

Re: Camping Checklist?
Rich, We also keep our EVC permanently stocked with bed linens, silverware & utensils, cookware, plates and cups, and basic staple food supplies. That makes packing for a trip much easier. Sheldon '97

Re: Cruise control problems
Leif, We had a similar problem with the cruise control on our '97 EVC when we first got it. The problem was quickly corrected by the dealer's service dept by adjusting the sensitivity of the brake

Re: Gas
So what octane should we be using in my wife's 93 Eurovan? Your post was very informative and the information greatly appreciated but I am still, after 70,000 miles, unsure about this. Please advise,

Re: 2000 EVC MSRP
Bob, call Theo at Campbell Nelson in Lynnwood WA (near Seattle). They have 2-3 evc's on the lot (maybe they're 99's though). Nonetheless, I expect you will hear a number well under the 37.7. Bill

Re: 2000 EVC MSRP
Bob... the price to join this club doesn't come cheap... LOL. My guess from lurking around here is that a 1999 EVC new sold for around 31,000 to 36,000 w/seat. I paid a lot for my 99EVC... $34,900,

Bob, Good point. The video also got me interested in the '93. It was a delayed action since I waited until Feb '94 to buy. Maybe VW looked at the list of people they sent the '93 video to and figured

2000 EVC MSRP
An authorized California dealer just quoted me an MSRP of $37,727 on a new EVC with companion seat and CD player. Is this real? He was willing to take $400 off, which makes it nearly $41,000 with tax
