Steve, I had the same problem with my driver's side window. My dealer tried to reset the electronics but wound up replacing the entire mechanism in the door, under warranty, which solved the problem.

EV5 4 wheel alingment
I just put on a set of Agilis 51s and am having VW do a 4 wheel alignment. Has anyone had this done? any problems or benefits from having it done. It's pretty pricey too at $148. Thanks Spencer

Bill: Mine gave out at about 130,000 miles. The service tech said they're typically good for 75,000 to 100,000 miles. I got a lot of life out of mine, although if it breaks, your van requires a tow.
