I did with the driver's side window. Oddly enough it went away of its own
accord. The shop told me these things are self-adjusting in some way and it
has to do with the mechanism designed to sense if someone's hand is in the
way, upon which it quickly reverses and goes down again. I found while I had
the problem I could work around it by tapping the control to stop the
window's movement just before it reached the top, then get it up the rest of
the way by tapping on the control a little at a time.

Subject: [ev_update] Re: problem with automatic windows
All of a sudden I'm having a problem with the passenger window of my 97
EVC. When I try to close the window it goes all the way up and then
reverses and goes all the way down.
The only way I can stop it from opening again is to try and catch the
window just when it hits the top and pull the switch.
Anyone else have this problem?
Thanks,
stevek
