I would us Silicon rubber cement clear.? U dont need much. Use a toothpick o lightly apply. After you cement the sections, use masking tape temporarily to burnish down the surface.? After it dries

The rubber thingy fell off my 2002 Weekender last year.? I cleaned all the glue and foam off both sides and stuck it back with 1/2" 3M VHB double-sided foam tape.? Like new!

Mac i did that repair about 10 years ago but I¡¯m pretty sure I used 1 inch wide doouble sided 3 m tape. ?I redid the entire piece. ?Make notes on placement.
