Our '93 is stumbling when running at a steady speed.
At idle it misses occasionally.
When accelerating it's smooth.
When cruising at a given speed it stumbles badly.

There are a number of factors to consider. Have you changed plugs lately?
Did you use the recommended plugs, not single electrode Bosch? Are the plug
wires in good condition? Any cracks etc? How old are they? Have you cleaned
out the intake manifold with some intake manifold cleaner? Is the timing
correct? Have you checked the rotor and distributor cap? Any cracks,
moisture? If all this checks out, have the fuel pressure checked.
After 88 000 miles one of my wires was cracked and caused similar problems,
just not as noticeable. Furthermore I used the cheapest Bosch plugs and the
engine did not idle well. I switched to the recommended Champion and they
made a big difference.
