Gary's right. I do have Conti Contrans tires on our '99 Rialta. They are
quiet, handle well, and don't show much wear at 13k miles (although I
haven't measured the tread depth). I haven't tried to find a source for them
thought.

They used Continentals on the 97 Rialtas. I met an owner who
used them for
38,000 miles and they were replacing them, free, because of
excess wear!
Pretty good service. The owner was from Great Britain and had
done most of
US but intended to return the Rialta to GB at completion of tour. He
thought the Conti's were an excellent tire. Don't forget the
Rialta weighs
3000 lbs more than our EVC's.
Ken Korn might have them on his, too.
