would someone be so kind as to give me the quick and

I would like to hear about both the Continentals and
the Michelins. Also, are any Goodyears good?

A very questionable subjective generalization. One only has to refer to past
posts to sort through the subjective vs. objective data available. Take your
time and do your research. After all, it is a marriage of 40K+ miles once you
commit. Best read the previous posts ...

The Michelin Agilis is a smaller tire, fact. Smaller, even than some other
OEM tires fitted to the EVC which do result in several negative attributes.
Past posts have clearly exposed this shortcoming (lack of better term;)
indicating that the Continental L23C 215/70R15C objectively would be worth
consideration, as a better choice for a replacement tire. This is due to
their slightly larger diameter resulting in the positives of lower engine
rpms, ride comfort, and slight increase in ground clearance (not to mention
also being a quite tire). This is also based on personal endorsements (see
endorsement below) and objective unbiased factual data provided in previous
posts. The EVC is marginally shod with tires as they come, especially after
Winn gets through with the conversion. Investigate a larger tire.

I'm wondering if problems do occur when tire size in increased.
I have no problems to report after switching from Goodyear 205/65R15
tires to Continental 215/70R15 LS23C. These are C-rated, and
have the appropriate reinforced sidewalls. The load index is 109, I
believe, and the max tire pressure is 65 psi.

Gas mileage has increased from 19.0 to 19.3 (after accounting for
odometer discrepancy due to tire size difference) then to 19.6 with
new Bosch platinum +4 spark plugs. I have shecked my speedometer
which is now accurate.

The tires did make the EV seem to handle quicker, and the
Continentals produce no objectionable noise. No problems with
acceleration either. I live in the mountains of western Virginia and
tow a 1500 lb (at least) boat and trailer to Tennessee twice a year
with the van full of people and camping gear.

I started with the 215/70 tires inflated to 43/48 psi, quickly
increased the front to 48 psi because of edge wear, and I have
recently increased the front again to 56 psi.
